- · Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial. Because members have expressed an interest in competing in NBLSA’s mock trial competition, there will be an interest meeting on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, to formalize our chapter’s involvement in this activity. By Tuesday the 14th, please e-mail Drea if you are thinking about participating.
- · Frederick Douglass Moot Court. Tulane BLSA will again send at least one team to the Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition; interested members should also make plans to be at Wednesday’s interest meeting.
- · Dues. Membership dues are…well, they are due. Please make your cash or check (payable to Tulane BLSA) in the amount of $25, and contact an officer to remit it whenever humanly possible & reasonably convenient.
- · Blog. As always, we are reminding members to make the BLSA blog a part of their regularly scheduled activities.
- · Call for Outlines. Upperclassmen are encouraged to continue submitting any outlines they may have from previous classes (preferably those classes in which you received a B or higher). Contact an officer to submit them, or e-mail them to TulaneBLSA@gmail.com . All students may potentially benefit from you taking a moment to send them our way, and 1L’s may especially benefit as we prepare for our “Outline Buffet” 1L seminar (details forthcoming).
- · Membership Survey . It’s always helpful to know what fellow members are involved in, and to share tidbits of wisdom with each other. To that end, we’re reminding members to respond to the membership survey as soon as possible. Your responses will help us compile a more effective member directory that is comprehensive of our interests, activities, and specialty areas.

Friday’s event was a great success, and we hope to host more opportunities to connect with big & lil sibs in the future, but these matches may prove to be invaluable resources and support for you in your legal career, so we encourage members to take advantage of that relationship now.
