Volunteer with the Admissions Office!

We need your help on Friday, February 25! A group of students from the DiscoverLaw Program at Sophie B. Wright High School will be at Tulane on February 25. The Admissions Office would like several current students to join them for Lunch and a Panel of Current Students.

Lunch is from 12-1 and the Panel is from 1-2. If you are interested in participating, please email abanks1@tulane.edu.

Interested in Running for BLSA office?

Elected positions are president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, and parliamentarian. This is a great opportunity for you to take a leadership role within the law school community.

We will host elections at the March 2 General Body Meeting. Questions? Contact wwhitted@tulane.edu or any of the board members for the position of interest.

Intersted in a Position on SRBLSA?

Any member of a 2010-2011 active SRBLSA Chapter or any member who submitted membership dues to the National offices of Black Law Students Association for the 2010-2011 academic year, 1 may run for office.

The following SRBLSA positions are eligible for election.
· Regional Chair
· Regional Vice Chair
· Regional Director of Sub-Region 1 (Arkansas and Tennessee)
· Regional Director of Sub-Region 2 (Louisiana and Mississippi)
· Regional Director of Sub-Region 3 (North Carolina and South Carolina)
· Regional Director of Sub-Region 4 (Florida and Puerto Rico)
· Regional Director of Sub-Region 5 (Alabama and Georgia)
· Regional Director of Programming
· Regional Treasurer
· Regional Director of Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition
· Regional Director of Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition
· Regional Director of Communications
· Regional Attorney General

1 An active chapter is a chapter who has paid membership dues and has uploaded a membership roster to the NBLSA Membership database. In order to be considered a member of an active chapter, your name must be included in the chapter’s membership roster. An active member is a member whose name is included in the National Black Law Students Association’s Membership Roster for the academic year.
