You are invited to the

2010 NBLSA Southern Region 2

Academic Retreat

At Loyola University New Orleans College of Law

Saturday, September 25, 2010

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Room 308

What is an Academic Retreat?

The SRBLSA Academic Retreat is a one-day seminar designed to help law students:

Improve and succeed in their course study

Improve time management skills

Make the transition from undergraduate to law school

Consider various career paths

Establish relationships with NBLSA students at surrounding schools

There will be several interactive panels addressing topics concerning the minority law student. This will allow every student to participate and voice their opinions on all matters.

Why should I attend?

“If I only knew then what I know now…” – Anonymous.

Law school can be very competitive and impersonal. Through participating in SRBLSA programs and events you will join a network of law students from all over the country that want to relate to you. You will establish life-long friendships and valuable connections. Through a small investment of time, you will be armed with information that can help you increase your academic and professional success.
